This is a hard one. As you probably know, or if you don’t know yet, you will. Navigating the waters of college is hard. There are a lot of things to take into consideration. Friends, school, homework, real life work, sleep, and worst of all relationships.
When it comes to classes, there is only one answer. Go. Even if you think you don’t need to, go. This is so crucial. Not only have you sacrificed literally everything to be here at this school. You are paying for it, or maybe your parents are paying for it. Regardless, someone is paying for it which is a huge deal. You need to go to class.
Believe it or not, these old professors actually know some things about whatever it is they are qualified to teach. Going to class has so many benefits. You can actually learn things that you may need to know to enter into the workforce.
Next Topic: Homework. This is so crucial. You don’t even know. In addition to actually going to class, most of the hard stuff in college is homework. Homework needs to be done. Always. As I mentioned earlier, you are paying to be there. Part of being there is actually doing the work. Your grades and degree depend a ton upon how well you do your homework.
Now in regards to that, this plays into your social life. I will talk more about this later. Being social is a great thing and is really half the actual fun of college. But it is important to note that you need to get things done. It is important to have a balance.
Overall, college is the best thing ever and you will not regret being there. It is the best thing that you will ever do. I want you to have the absolute best college experience possible.
